It has been a crazy day. Alec has been home visiting for the summer and it has been nice to have him home. Today he left to return to BYU-Hawaii. It was a serious push and we got him to the airport just in time to check in. Well, that is the reason for only one picture. It was late and Micah, Riley and Kody were all asleep. This was just as he was walking in to the departure lounge. Good luck Alec!!! We love you and are praying for your every success.

We had some special visitors today. Little BJ and his son Semisi stopped by on their quick visit home. It was so great to talk and catch up with him. We look forward to see him more often.

Summer 2018
Last summer we accomplished a lot of room makeovers. This summer we tackled a few more projects. We had a busy and productive Summer this year. It was a crazy time with work and the kids and Jason off island and shorthanded at work. I was lucky to have Alec home during that time though because he helped me out a lot with work. It was also great to have Mom and Dad home too.
So we started the Summer with a bathroom renovation. My bathroom was in desperate need of a renovation as you can see. Right after Jason left for his vacation I decided to go a head and tackle this project. Here is the before:
Timing worked out well cause my Mom and Dad were in Hawaii and helped me get a lot of the fixtures I needed to make the bathroom this beautiful!
We also did a lot of organizing around the house. With all the boys we have a lot of bikes that aways get piled up in front of the door or on the walkway. I got on Pinterest and the boys and I built a bike rack and the guys from the boat helped us build and cement a platform for it! We are all so excited but no one more than me. Now I don't have an obstacle course to jump through when I come home from work. :)
Another project we did was to organize the tool corner. We have a space by the stairs that the tools were and it was a mess. So Alec, Micah and I pulled it all out, built a shelf and organized these tools! I know it doesn't look like much but it is a HUGE improvement. Now you can actually walk in there to get the tools you need.
It was very satisfying working with the boys, building, getting things done and more organized. Special thanks to Villy for her help with Kody and helping as we finished the last two projects. We pulled it off and got it all done before Jason returned home.

'Tis the Season 2017
'Tis the Season 2017
It's Christmas time again and we were so blessed to have my parents home for Christmas. We spent a lot of time at their house while they were here and we were able to enjoy many festive activities.
The MIW Youth went Christmas Caroling! It is always a treat to get Christmas Carolers and this year both Brady and Micah were amongst the carolers. Thank you MIW Youth for the sweet spirit and beautiful song you sang!
Christmas Eve was Back to Bethlehem!
It was a beautiful starry night in Bethlehem in the Haleck living room! We all played our parts in the Christmas Program as we remember the true meaning of Christmas.
Jason as Isaiah
Dad as Samuel the Lamanite
Mom and Dad cooked a beautiful Christmas Eve dinner that we all enjoyed!
Alec taught the boys
Christmas Day
Merry Christmas Boys!
Santa and his Elves!
Out for the count!

Alec's PHS Graduation
On May 19, 2017, Alec Makisi Corry graduated from Pacific Horizons School! It was a very nice graduation held at Lupelele Church of Christ in Tafuna. The commencement was attended by family and friends including Grammy and Grandpa who came all the way from New Zealand for the special occasion. Others in attendance were; Uncle Dave, Aunty Rola, Tavita, Villy, Sa and various church friends including Alec's seminary teacher Sis. Ngaire Ho Ching.
So happy Grammy and Grandpa could be here on his special day!
The whole family!!!
After the graduation we went to the Tradewinds for a celebration dinner with family! Thanks to Aunty Cathie who helped pull it all together. It was a great night to celebrate Alec and his accomplishments.
Congratulations Alec!!
