Pool Party

Yesterday we gathered with the Peters and the Hemalotos to celebrate Lydia Peter's birthday. We went to my parent's house and enjoyed an afternoon of swimming and food. The kids had a blast swimming and playing around.

The highlight was the chocolate fountain!

Skyler and Brady really got into the chocolate. It is a wonder any chocolate got into their mouths.

More swimming and games. Getting together with friends is always fun.

S'more Fun

Well, yesterday was a pretty uneventful day. Just hanging out at the house most of the day. In the afternoon we decided to clean up the outside a bit. We started with taking out the trash. Then moved on to de-cluttering the carport and sweeping was next. Finally the boys picked up the leaves and dead branches on the yard. Hmmm... what to do with that? Ah ha! Let's build a fire and cook s'mores!

Did you know that there was more than one way to cook a marshmallow? Alec took a "slow and steady" approach cooking his over the coals. That takes patience.

While Brady and Micah went for instant gratification by going straight for the flames.
