First Day of School!!!!

School is back in session!  Yep.... my boys went back to school today.  They were so excited.  When they went to bed last night I went over with them the routine in the morning.  I also mistakenly told Micah to make sure I was up when he got up.  Oh, big mistake.  I was shaken awake by Micah at 5:30am.  I guess Micah won't have any problems when Seminary rolls around.  Ha.  I told him to go back to bed for another hour.  Anyway,  here are their first day of school pictures.

Riley Owen was a little lost today in the quiet house.  The boys really had a good first day.  Everyone was happy and enjoyed meeting their new teachers and seeing their friends.  I hope they all have a great year!

So Long Summer

Yesterday was the last day of summer and I thought I would share some more pictures of the boys and their summer break.

These pictures are of the boys crashing Alec's Boy Scout Camp.  We were there to pick Alec up but ended up  staying a bit.

My Little Monkeys

Here are some pictures that we took on my birthday beach hike.  We hiked out to Airport Beach and swam a bit there.  We had fun and the hike was a reminder of what I should be doing more.   It was a nice way to spend the day.  Just being with my boys.

What a beautiful island we live on.

Da Boyz

A few times a year my boy humor me and let me take pictures of them.  The experience is not always fun but it is so worth it when I see the pictures that come out of it.  Take a look at these growing boys.

Tofa Grammy and Grandpa

We have been blessed to have Grammy and Grandpa come home for a month.  It was so nice.  It was like they had never left and home felt more whole.  They boys enjoyed their time.  Here are a few pictures of the last day they were here.

We all were able to meet for lunch with Grandma, Uncle Dave, and Uncle William.
When Grammy and Grandpa were here they told the boys they needed 12 hugs every time they saw them.  They did a good job at making sure their Grandparents got their hugs.

Here Grandpa was getting his 12 hugs from Skyler when Riley decided to join in.

On their way to the airport they stopped to say bye to Grandma.

At the airport Grammy had two little porters who would have gladly escorted them all the way to Utah.

Tofa Grammy and Grandpa!  We can't wait until we see you again.  We love you!

Amazing Race to 13

I have a teenager!   Can you believe it?  Nope me neither.  Alec was so excited for his birthday.  I remember those days.  So his Birthday started with our traditional Breakfast in Bed.  He got Samoan pancakes, an omelet and cocoa.  Yummy!
We celebrated by running "Alec's Amazing Race to 13"  It was a great idea my Mom had.  (Thank goodness for Moms!)  So we split up into two groups and we each had clues to a location that had some meaning to Alec.  So the race was to figure out the clue, get there first and take a group picture.  At the end the group who go there first got a point and the group that had the more creative photo won.  So run the Amazing race with us.
