Catch up!

What did the mayo say to the ketchup?  CATCH UP!  :)  

Okay so that's not the actual joke but you get the idea.  That is what I am going to attempt to do.  Catch up on the posts I should have made.  So... if you follow this... look backward.  I am going to try to fill in the gapping hole in this blog by posting photos and hopefully remember some stories to share.  Not promising... more like hoping.  

So here is to HOPE!  

2016 Photo Shoot

I took the boys out to get photos done for our Christmas cards this year.  The photo shoot was a little last minute as today was a day that time and weather permitted.  It was fun as always catching these photogenic faces.  They had a lot of fun climbing around the fallen banyan tree in Lions Park.  They even turned the camera on me.  It was a lot of fun and I love the photos we got.  

A New Look!

The boys were all in desperate need of a haircut and I treated them to Cherry's.  Cherish got all four boys in and out of there in no time and with fantastic new haircuts!  Just look at the before and after of these handsome boys.  Thank you Cherish!

 

 

First day of School Year 2015-16

Good luck to my boys this school year!  May your minds be focused and your bodies be still!

A Friend of a Friend

Charlotte is a friend of a friend of mine.  

Her and her father had come to American Samoa for a visit.  I was able to have Charlotte over a couple days.  She is a remarkable your woman with a lot of energy and she fit right in with the boys.  The first day afternoon we went swimming at the pool.  They all had fun and Charlotte and Micah took turns doing dives, back flips and jumps into the pool

Skyler, of course, had to tease Riley.  Look at that face!

 The next day was a hike to the canons.  This is always a great hike.  

We finally ended up on the shore of Gaitaivai beach.  Here Charlotte and the boys ran from the on coming waves.  It was funny watching them chase the waves then the waves chase them.  

Best wishes to Charlotte as she returns home.  

Alec's Day

Beginning the day with the traditional breakfast in bed!

Kayaking

Rain or shine it is Kayak time!   The boys had fun with Jason in the Paala Lagoon.  It was windy and cold but that didn't stop each one from taking a turn either paddling or riding.  

Of course with only two kayaks there was some waiting around but these boys found a way to keep busy by finding crabs.
